Natasha Baker

Natasha Baker is the Managing Attorney of Novus Law Firm, Inc., a Bay Area law firm that uses legal technology to deliver efficient legal advice on issues of labor, employment and higher education law. Natasha regularly advises and trains institutions of higher education and other employers around the country on conducting an effective response to campus sexual violence and harassment.

Liz DeChellis

Liz DeChellis is a Senior Associate Attorney with Van Dermyden Makus. She is licensed to practice law in the State of California, and is certified as a Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR).

Jennifer A. Doughty

Jennifer Doughty is a Partner and Director of Associate Development with Van Dermyden Makus Law Corporation. Jennifer has worked as an investigator for Van Dermyden Makus since January 2012.

Dr. Brenda Ingram

Dr. Brenda Ingram is a licensed clinical social worker who has over 30 years of working in the mental health and education fields specializing in trauma and cultural competence.

Eli Makus

Eli Makus is the managing partner of Van Dermyden Makus Law Corporation. After litigating disputes for many years and working as in-house employment counsel, Eli’s practice now focuses on conducting impartial workplace and Title IX campus investigations.

Keith Rohman, AWI-CH

Keith Rohman is the founder and president of Public Interest Investigations, Inc., in Los Angeles, a legal investigations firm that has served educational institutions, public-sector employers, corporations, and the legal community since 1984.

Nora Rohman

Nora Rohman has been an investigator at Public Interest Investigations, Inc., since 2013. Her cases have focused on campus investigations involving sexual misconduct allegations; workplace investigations into complaints of harassment, discrimination, and/or retaliation; and mitigation investigations for death penalty matters, both at the trial and appellate levels.

Sue Ann Van Dermyden

Sue Ann Van Dermyden is a Shareholder at Van Dermyden Makus Law Corporation. She is a licensed California attorney, licensed Private Investigator and certified EEOC investigator. After years as a litigator in state and federal courts, Sue Ann’s practice now focuses on neutral employment work. She spends her time conducting workplace and Title IX campus investigations on complex matters.

Cathleen Watkins

Cathleen Watkins is a Senior Investigator who has worked for the past 20 years as part of the investigative team at Public Interest Investigations, Inc. (PII), in Los Angeles. Her caseload has focused on conducting third-party investigations into workplace complaints of sexual harassment, sexual assault, discrimination, and retaliation for a range of employers, including corporations, governmental entities, and educational institutions.

Dr. Chris Wilson

Dr. Chris Wilson is a licensed psychologist from Portland, Oregon. For the past twenty years he’s worked with victims and survivors of trauma. He currently runs Being Trauma Informed (BTI), an organization dedicated to making the science of trauma accessible to all. Prior to starting BTI, Dr. Wilson had a private practice conducting evaluations, psychotherapy, and providing training, with a focus on domestic violence and sexual assault.

Lexi Zuidema

Lexi Zuidema is an Associate Attorney with Van Dermyden Makus Law Corporation. Her practice focuses on discrimination and harassment complaints in both private and public- sector employment contexts and Title IX campus investigations. Lexi also serves as a Hearing Officer in Title IX and student conduct cases.
