A well-run Title IX investigation and hearing can still fall apart on paper. Reports that describe the process inconsistently, summarize evidence unevenly, or leave gaps in the record impact the integrity of the investigation.
This hands-on workshop focuses on the skills needed to draft a Title IX investigative and hearing report, including:
- Identifying important factual background details that will provide important context for the reader
- Documenting the investigator’s methodology to demonstrate the thorough process
- Drafting evidence summaries that are complete, neutral, and organized in a way that supports the reader’s understanding of the information gathered
Participants will have the opportunity to practice writing skills based on real-world Title IX scenarios.
Designed for Title IX investigators and coordinators at any experience level, this session is especially valuable for those who conduct investigations regularly and want to sharpen the clarity, consistency, and defensibility of their investigative reports.
This webinar is intended for Title IX coordinators, investigators, hearing officers/adjudicators, and campus administrators.
